Software Without Code started in 2018 as a blog about no-code tools. The idea was simple: you shouldn’t need to be a programmer to build software. Back then that mostly meant drag-and-drop builders and a lot of compromises.

The tools changed. AI coding agents can now plan, write, test, and deploy real software from a plain-language description of what you want. The promise from 2018 finally holds up, just not the way anyone expected.

I’m Dominik, a software engineer based in British Columbia. This site is where I document what building with agents actually looks like: the workflows that hold up, the places they fall apart, and the projects that come out the other end. No hype pieces. If something wastes my time, I’ll say so.
